MOSPORT SPEEDWAY

6 OR LESS DIVISION RULES 2006

The 6 or less division is for the individual participating in the sport of car racing as a hobby.  The rules and restrictions are designed to prevent the costs from getting out of hand, giving each individual a fair and competitive chance.  In this division the enjoyment of winning and feeling of accomplishment is just as exciting as in the faster more complex divisions.

This set of rules is designed as a basic guideline.

The interpretation of these rules will be solely the judgment of the Track/Tech Staff.

All cars running in a feature or qualifying event are subject to Tech inspection.  Any cars being Teched will be allowed to have only Driver and (2) two others present in the Tech area.  No one else allowed.  Any harassment from any Driver and or crew member to the tech Staff or any other Track Official may result in an automatic disqualification.  See General Rules.

Decision of Track Official  is Final.  Once Disqualified you will remain Disqualified.

Any car running illegal non stock parts will be disqualified.  (Parts not allowed by Tech Staff.)  No car will be permitted to compete in any unsafe mechanical condition.

Remember Stock means Stock.  No Exceptions.

Anyone that has raced higher than a Thunder car will not qualify to compete in this class.    All drivers must be approved by the Mosport officials.
