Bowmanville, ON - April 15, 2004: With the race season at Mosport Speedway fast approaching the opportunity to get a sneak peek at cars and pickup a copy of the 2004 schedule begins this weekend at the 5 Points Mall in Oshawa.

From Friday April 16th through Sunday April 18th Mosport Speedway will be setup at 5 Points Mall during regular mall hours. On display will be Alyssa Petrou's Lakefront Tire & Auto Centre Ltd. Chevy Camaro Thunder Car, an American Le Mans Series Panoz prototype and a go-kart from the Mosport Kart Club.

Alyssa, who was recently featured in a Toronto Sun Career Connection special section, is entering into her second season of stock car racing at Mosport Speedway. Her father Tom also competes in the Bob's Towing Thunder Car division. Alyssa will be at the mall to meet fans and sign autographs all three days. She will be on-hand Friday from 6:00 PM to close and back Saturday & Sunday from 12:00 PM to close.

The 5 Points Mall is located on the corners of Ritson Rd. and Taunton in Oshawa. The mall hours this weekend are from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM Friday, Saturday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Mosport Speedways seasons begins May 15th will all four of Mosport's divisions competing. The Bob's Towing Thunder Cars, THORSONS EVT Challengers, R.P. Oil Ltd. Open Wheel Modifieds and Late Models taking to the track for qualifying races and features. Gates open at 5:30 PM racing starts at 6:30 PM.
