Bowmanville, ON–August 31, 2001: On September 8th, Fan Appreciation Night, Mosport will conduct a fund-raiser in support of the Robbie McMullen Trust Fund. Robbie is paralyzed as a result of injuries sustained in a racing accident July 28th at another speedway. Robbie has visited our track and although the Can-Am Midget Club (series Robbie competed in) has never raced at Mosport that's irrelevant as we strive to help a member of the racing community and his family. Glenn Butt, track announcer, is challenging all of you to support the Robbie McMullen Trust Fund. On September 8th Glenn will be ‘working for Robbie’ as he has donated his entire nights pay to the Trust Fund and hopes you too can support the Fund with a donation of any amount.
