Bereaved Families of Ontario heads to Mosport to feed the need for speed. Ride "shotgun" with a race car driver, lap your own car or test-drive a Subaru on the famed Mosport Racing Circuit.

Bowmanville, Ontario: Bereaved Families of Ontario (BFO) invites you and your family to the circuit on Sunday, October 14, 2001 for a day of fast cars, live entertainment and silent auctions in support of BFO-Toronto.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from this event will go to support the bereavement programs and services of BFO -Toronto.

BFO, a self-help and mutual aid organization founded in 1978 by a group of parents who had experienced the death of a child, has joined forces with Mosport International Raceway, a world-renowned racetrack located just north of Bowmanville, Ontario.

Bereaved Families provides support to family members who have experienced the death of a child, sibling or parent. Trained volunteers and professional advisors work together to meet the needs of the bereaved. Each grief is unique. You are not alone.

Once host to Formula 1, INDY and Can-Am, Mosport International Raceway currently features American Le Mans, Trans-Am, Canadian Super Bikes and Cascar racing events.

Tickets are available from Bereaved Families of Ontario-Toronto and will be on sale the day of the event. Entrance gate tickets are $10.00, $40.00 for a family. Shotgun Ride with a race car driver $20.00, lap your own car $30.00.
