Kimmerley was at Mosport Speedway last weekend
for some pre-season testing in her new Chevrolet
Monte Carlo Limited Late Model race car.

With
the start of the 2008 season mere weeks away,
Shannon Kimmerley took advantage of some warm
spring weather by turning a few laps at Mosport
Speedway in her new Limited Late Model race car
last weekend. As family and friends looked on,
Kimmerley got her Chevrolet Monte Carlo up to
speed during several stints around Canada's Fastest
Half Mile Oval in preparation for the open practice
session scheduled for Saturday, May 3. After finishing
tied for fourth in points last year in the THORSONS
EVT 6 or Less division, Kimmerley will compete
in the Limited Late Model class at Mosport this
season in a field with many experienced drivers.
Among those she'll be up against is her father
Dan who also laid down some practice laps in his
Late Model Pontiac. The 2008 Autoworkers Community
Credit Union Saturday Night Racing presented by
PartSource goes green on Saturday, May 10.
