of the Mobil 1 presents the Grand Prix of
Mosport (August 21-24).
The
Porscheplatz, supported by Porsche North America
and facilitated by IMSA, the sanctioning body
for the American Le Mans Series, is a special
VIP hospitality package that is sold exclusively
to Porsche owners. Located on the inside of
Corner Eight (a hard-breaking right turn at
the end of the Andretti Straightaway), tickets
are $100 per person.
The
Grand Prix weekend features the American Le
Mans Series (ALMS)
www.americanlemans.com . Porsche teams
are top contender in the P2 prototype class
and the GT2 class. The IMSA GT3 Cup
is an all-Porsche series and the marque is
also represented in the SPEED World Challenge
GT series.
The
Porscheplatz program is in its third season
and included the following:
- Admission
to the event for all four days, featuring
the ALMS, along with SPEED World Challenge
(GT & Touring), Star Mazda, IMSA GT3
Cup, IMSA Lites and Formula 2000
- Private
Chalet Tent & parking area exclusively
for Porscheplatz guests (only Porsches will
be admitted to the parking area), open Friday
to Sunday.
- Fully
catered lunch & beverages (soft drinks,
juice & water) on race day (Sunday),
with cash bar
- Presentations
and meet & greets with Porsche race
team personnel, including drivers
- A
Souvenir Race Magazine Program, ear plugs
and pass holder
- A
chance to participate in a parade lap around
Mosport’s famed 4-km circuit (details and
